ABOUT

Tusco Amateur Radio Club is a smaller radio club with a family atmosphere. TARC began in 1939 and is based out of the New Philadelphia area of Tuscarawas County Ohio. We have several local events and contests that radio amateurs and the general public are welcome to attend. TARC participates in the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) which is a volunteer service provided to the local area to provide emergency radio communications in times of disaster. We have several members who have been in the hobby of amateur radio for decades so to say there is a LOT of knowledge about this club would be an understatement! TARC has a VE Team and we hold regular VE sessions every even numbered month to get more people licensed and upgraded in Amateur Radio(Click the EXAM tab at the top of your screen for more info). The purpose of this website is to share our events and experiences with everyone.
